Storage

For each experiment, a standard curve needs to be set for each microplate, and the specific OD value may vary depending on different laboratories, testers, or equipment. The following example data is for reference only. The sample concentration was calculated based on the results of the standard curve. The minimum detectable concentration of Complement C5a is less than 5 pg/mL.
Sample Values
Serum Sample: Twenty-five healthy mouse serum samples were evaluated for the concentrations of mouse complement C5a in this assay. Mouse complement C5a was detectable in all serum samples (100%), with concentrations ranging from 78.577 to 242.877 ng/mL and a mean of 158.734 ng/mL.
Intra-Assay Statistics
Eight replicates of each of three samples containing different Complement C5a concentrations were tested in one assay. Acceptable criteria: CV＜10%.
Inter-Assay Statistics
Three samples containing different concentrations of Complement C5a were tested in independent assays. Acceptable criteria: CV<15%.
Recovery
Recombinant Mouse Complement C5a was spiked into three mouse serum samples, and then analyzed. The average recovery of Complement C5a for serum samples is 96.40%.
