MABSol® Biotinylated Human Her2, His Tag, primary amine labeling, long spacer (HE2-H822R) is expressed from human HEK293 cells. It contains AA Thr 23 - Thr 652 (Accession # P04626-1). It is the biotinylated form of Human Her2, His Tag (Cat. No. HE2-H5225).

This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 70.2 kDa. The protein migrates as 90-110 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
Labeling
The primary amines in the side chains of lysine residues and the N-terminus of the protein are conjugated with biotins using standard chemical labeling method. A specially optimized long-spacer biotin reagent (32.5 angstroms) is used in this product to minimize potential steric hindrance.

LikesI used this protein for four years now with no troubles. It's my reference for octet (BLI) analysis :). The biothynlation of the protein is a great advantage for this kind of use. Even after a long time at -80°C the protein is stable and works very well for our analysis. The disversity of chemical groups like polyHis moiety on this type of coumpound allow the use of the protein in various methods.
