Human GYS1 Protein, His Tag (GY1-H51H3) is expressed from E. coli cells. It contains AA Met 1 - Asn 737 (Accession # P13807-1).

Predicted N-terminus: Met 1

Molecular Characterization

This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

The protein has a calculated MW of 85.7 kDa. The protein migrates as 70-80 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE).

Mutations in this gene are associated with muscle glycogen storage disease. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
