Product Description
ActiveMax® VCAM-1 μBeads, premium grade (for cells) are uniform, superparamagnetic beads of 20 µm in diameter immobilized with Human VCAM-1 Protein, expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293) and contains AA Phe 25 - Glu 698 (Accession # P19320-1).
ActiveMax® VCAM-1 μBeads, premium grade (for cells, 20 μm) are produced under sterile manufacturing conditions (ISO 5), and no animal- or human-derived components are used throughout the production process. It is produced under our rigorous quality control system that includes a comprehensive set of tests including sterility and endotoxin tests.Application
This product is intended for immunocapture, biopanning. This is a non-sterile product.
Reconstitution

Storage
This product is stable in storage under the following conditions: -20˚C for 12 months in lyophilized state. -70°C for 3 months under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
Please protect from light and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Immediate use after reconstitution is highly recommended.

Add 100ul of 1:40 PE anti-human CD106 Antibody / PE-anti-Mouse IgG1 dilution into 5e5 of ActiveMax® VCAM-1 μBeads, premium grade (for cells, 20 μm) (Cat. No. MBS-C028), negative control beads as well. PE signals was used to evaluate VCAM-1 beads activity (QC tested).

Can lyophilized proteins remain stable during room-temperature shipping or temporary room-temperature exposure?
In general, lyophilized proteins remain stable during room-temperature shipping or temporary exposure to room-temperature conditions.
Many ACROBiosystems recombinant proteins are supplied in lyophilized (freeze-dried) form. The lyophilization process effectively removes moisture from the product, helping reduce degradation-related reactions and improve protein stability during transportation and storage.
To evaluate the stability of lyophilized proteins under normal temperature conditions, ACROBiosystems conducted a stability study on 11 representative lyophilized protein products at 37°C. The study demonstrated that these proteins maintained good quality stability after storage at 37°C for approximately 20 days. Based on these validation results, temporary room-temperature exposure during shipping or handling is generally not expected to have a significant impact on product quality or downstream application performance.
To ensure optimal long-term stability, products should be stored according to the storage conditions specified in the product Certificate of Analysis (COA) upon receipt.
