Anti-SARS-CoV-2 Spike RBD Antibody, Human IgG1 (AS113) (Omicron Specific) (SPD-M415) is a chimeric monoclonal antibody recombinantly expressed in HEK293 cells, which combines the variable regions of a mouse monoclonal antibody with human IgG1 constant domains. The variable regions was obtained from a mouse immunized with purified recombinant omicron Spike RBD Protein. The antibody is specific against the Omicron (B.1.1.529/BA.1) variant of SARS-CoV-2, and has no binding with the spike RBD of the wild type virus and other viral lineages.

I used this antibody as a control for flow cytometry and it was very reliable. A clear peak shift could be seen with this antibody. When we had questions about what SARS-CoV-2 variants this mAb bound to, ACRO replied quickly and gave us information on the variants we inquired about and then some. ACRO is a company I would purchase from again and my company has used them consistently.

This omicron protein is a really great product and is high quality. The protein came on time to conduct our experiments and we were able to produce satisfactory results from using this protein. The protein was shipped with dry ice and was in a secure package. We would highly recommend this company and this protein to other labs that are doing omicron research.

Can lyophilized proteins remain stable during room-temperature shipping or temporary room-temperature exposure?
In general, lyophilized proteins remain stable during room-temperature shipping or temporary exposure to room-temperature conditions.
Many ACROBiosystems recombinant proteins are supplied in lyophilized (freeze-dried) form. The lyophilization process effectively removes moisture from the product, helping reduce degradation-related reactions and improve protein stability during transportation and storage.
To evaluate the stability of lyophilized proteins under normal temperature conditions, ACROBiosystems conducted a stability study on 11 representative lyophilized protein products at 37°C. The study demonstrated that these proteins maintained good quality stability after storage at 37°C for approximately 20 days. Based on these validation results, temporary room-temperature exposure during shipping or handling is generally not expected to have a significant impact on product quality or downstream application performance.
To ensure optimal long-term stability, products should be stored according to the storage conditions specified in the product Certificate of Analysis (COA) upon receipt.
