Background

Recombinant Monoclonal Anti-HE4 Antibody, Rabbit (C038) is a HE4 primary antibody for IHC application.
HE4 is also called as WAP four-disulfide core domain protein 2 (WFDC2), which is a secreted protein that functions in protease inhibition. HE4 is expressed in pulmonary epithelial cells and shows high expression in the respiratory system, as well as proximal digestive tract and gastrointestinal tract. Expression of HE4 is also detected in the female and male reproductive systems, and has been noted in some ovarian cancers.
