Human Pertuzumab Background

Pertuzumab is a human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2/ErbB2) binding humanized monoclonal antibody. Pertuzumab is composed of the Fv (variable; antigen-binding) regions of the 2C4 murine HER2 monoclonal antibody specific for the extracellular dimerization domain (subdomain II) of human HER2 with human IgG1 heavy and kappa light chain constant (framework) regions.
