Accurate Intact Molecular Mass
Intact proteins are ionized and analyzed by mass spectrometry. Deconvolution of multiply charged ion envelopes determines the molecular mass or mass distribution, enabling direct comparison with the theoretical value.

High Amino Acid Sequence Coverage
Proteins are enzymatically digested and analyzed by LC-MS/MS peptide mapping. Identified peptides are matched against the target sequence to determine sequence coverage, providing direct evidence of sequence identity.

Confirmed N-Terminal Start Site
